Monte Louro Route (Muros)
Circular route that starts in the fishing port of Muros, just a few metres from the square where the Town Hall is located. The first part of the route follows the coastline as far as O Muiño Cachón, a tide mill, from where we start the ascent towards O Monte Laxeiras, where a small diversion leads us to "A Cruz dos Pelos", the first of the heights that offers a panoramic view of the Muros-Noia estuary. From this point we continue our ascent to "Outeiro do Milladoiro", a natural vantage point that allows us to see from the inlet of Carnota in the north to Corrubedo in the south. A place to enjoy splendid views.

From the vicinity of this point we start to descend towards Ancoradoiro along forest tracks that will once again offer us privileged views, this time of the natural area of Monte Louro, with its lagoon and dune system. This mountain will be crossed along its base in a route with samples of a recent past where agriculture, popular architecture and old paths are present for our enjoyment. The end of this route will pass near the convent of San Francisco, where its Way of the Cross indicates the beginning of the last effort to be made in this stage. This effort leads to "Laxe das Rodas", one of the most interesting petroglyphs in the area. Finally we will return to our starting point in a slight descent that will allow us to continue enjoying the views until the last moment.
